It is just one of many indicators used to measure overall common decency, if people are thinking of others or themselves and the level of overall conscientiousness. Stock traders do the same thing and they call it ‘indicators’. If someone will return a lost wallet, let someone over in traffic, throw trash in a trash can. I’ve traveled a lot and shit countries have no common decency.
