    @cowanon @Humpleupagus @skylar @xuya @aes31494 @justnormalkorean @zero Yeah, it's very much an issue specific to these modern amd systems. Bigger numbers after the ram is better as that limits your cpu speed unless it's faster than the cpu. I think... The sticks in the list I shared were the best available at the time I built mine, like a year ago. You might be able to lower latency sticks now, but you'll never notice the difference unless you're autistic. They also make 2x48gb sticks now, though they're a bit slower I believe. I really doubt you'll need 96gb of ram unless you specifically know that you will, so I'd just go with 64gb total.
    For what it's worth, I didn't know most of this until I put my own list on fedi and asked people to give their opinions. And damn did people have opinions...
