Disgusting that they portray this invasion as some kind of stimulus for Springfield. That city has was rapidly sliding downward for my entire life and nobody lifted a finger to help them, but instead heaped scorn upon them (and the region generally). If "green line go up" is so damn important, they would have helped the existing citizens get on their feet 40 or 50 years ago. Green line is a rationalization meant to appeal to conservative biases toward positive economic trends. The real reason Haitians were brought to Springfield, as we all know, is "Fuck you."
