@dansup respectfully, I have to disagree.

While yeah, some blocks are unreasonable, blocklists themselves, especially when paired with receipts for behavior far beyond what is acceptable (unaddressed hatred on the basis of innate characteristics such as gender and it's presentation, race, capability, etc), are an important tool both for moderating an instance, as well as individually for improving an individuals experience with the fediverse.
