Uncle Vinny@thomasfuchs @cryptadamist I love it, but darn it all I must quibble about the cost of shipping food around. Relative to the carbon footprint (or really any footprint) of producing food, shipping it costs nothing. Producing and discarding things is by far the biggest environmental problem, not the moving around, thanks to how outrageously efficient sea travel is. (But plz correct me if I’m wrong!)
