J@BeAware assuming you are talking about the PS5 (my ps4 pro is a paperweight now lol) I think what it boils down to is if the buyer cares for 4k or not, because if you are looking to game at 1080 or 1440p, you could most certainly get a respectable rig put together for under $700. Before I upgraded to my current 4090 rig, I had a refurbished Dell Optiplex ($200), and an RTX A2000 ($300), and it crushed every game I threw it's way at 1080p high settings.
