I am a proponent of MDMA and Psilocybin for PTSD treatment and when the FDA declined to move their stance on MDMA (not Psilocybin) being ineffective, the study used had some major flaws and you can see why the FDA didn't approve it as a treatment for PTSD. Better science is the only way forward.
