The vote doesn't matter for policy decisions, but it is an indicator of the general disposition of people around you. Don't think "well maybe things will get better." Always be ready to move. Do what you can (gardening, raising bees, crafting things that can be valuable should it be needed). Refused any US special/new money that comes down the pipe. Refuse to shop anywhere that uses government endorsed government tokens. Be willing to deal entirely in cash.

There's not a lot you can do really. If Trump backs a private token (even Bitcoin, which the US holds a lot of due to confiscation) people will jump on board and cheer (the Scamdemic proved the media flips people like a switch). Do what you can, but be prepared for it to not be enough.
