@branman65 @SaltWraith The part I think he was most insistent upon which a lot of common stories tell is the "Jones was in control of these poor people and they didn't know what they were doing".

He thinks otherwise, which, really just makes him a realist - but is also important for a historian.

This also means he almost certainly doesn't believe the magic mustache man story either.
