    Someone posted this five months ago when I read this and it's still relevant.

    Such a shame in all sense of the word that corporations are slowly but surely going to kill yet another vital resource. :(

      I fully expect SCOTUS to not take up this case and I feel the floodgates are officially open for more lawsuits to be filed against the #InternetArchive (@internetarchive@mastodon.archive.org) where they're now on borrowed time as far as a organization goes which would be a sad end. This from five months ago is still relevant: https://old.reddit.com/r/DataHoarder/comments/1bswhdj/if_there_is_a_book_on_internet_archive_your/ It's time to prepare for a likely scenario where the #IA won't exist in 2-5 years and we need to find ways to mirror and backup our projects somewhere else.
