I think what was most interesting was how he was very upset that a huge portion of those who died there were children and the elderly and how the politicians from california were calling them and feeding their paranoia.
I also think his take on ideologs was very interesting - what happens is they have to meet reality and how that can destroy movements, and it's all about how their deal with reality.
