@BroDrillard the link between feminism and voting is pretty strong. Obviously only a society which doesn't crater in births will survive.

For us who have only lived under "democracy" it seems hard to imagine a way that people don't vote without a societal collapse. But I have an inkling that the love of democracy that you see now is mostly a fear of change. With stability threatened enough, I think people will say "I didn't actually vote anyway"
