My gripe with those FPS/MOBA games is the same, really. MOBA has this "unstable balance", meaning that strong get stronger, and as a result team composition and skill level distributing matters a lot (not to mention low number of players per team means each member is drastically more important compared to, say, 12v12) and so even if your skill level is good, one bad player can make you lose the game and "feed" the other team. Problem exacerbated by the fact that besides typical MOBA "skills" like game knowledge and planning, you also need to aware of your surroundings (first person perspective limits your FOV and maps in FPS tend to have at least some verticality, top-down mobas don't and also have 360° vision range) and of course be able to AIM.
