Cross some chores off your to-do list, make stuff happen that will just give you something else to think about. Going for a walk or even just strolling around a park with a nice garden or something.
As a backup there is always ritual, though that's an iffy thing as it can often be solo or contemplative; for me that's stuff like brewing beverages like tea or coffee, and the process of drinking it.
