Feeling good all the time is not normal. It's sort of a semantic argument, but if we felt good all the time there would be no differentiation of good, from not good. In my opinion feeling bad sometimes is necessary. Bad stuff does happen, bad feelings do come up, and you'd have to have something wrong with you to enjoy it the way you do for good things. It's also why anyone's goal should never be just to feel good, because that way lies madness and depravity.
Sadness is necessary and normal. Happiness is necessary and normal, and some balance between the two is a prerequisite of well-adjustment. In my opinion, contrast and sometimes contradiction are needed to remain even-keeled. You won't feel sad forever. Basically anyone who will tel you that they are sad forever is either severely unwell, does it to themselves willfully, or some combination thereof.
It's fine to be sad, you'll be alright. Don't fall into the trap of feeling bad about feeling bad, as that way lies destruction.
