@DrRyanSkelton @apropos Video Games are both an analog and audio-visual medium. Aesthetics are very important. Even on super niche lofi graphic stuff they go out of their way to make it appealing with what's there. Getting ugly on accident can be forgiven. Going ugly on purpose is not a winning strategy.
