IMHO too many libertarians think they should "water down the message" to get votes, and in the process still don't get votes. The idea that @chaseforliberty is a progressive/communist/leftist etc. is pretty silly. He's a standard right-wing reformist Libertarian. Most of the right-wingers, including those in the Party, that don't like him are upset for having normal small government positions, like voluntarily wearing a mask during the pandemic, encouraging others to do the same, and supporting the rights of private business owners to set their own policies regarding such. Other than being more charismatic, on a policy position he's pretty much the same as most POTUS candidates the Party has had. I mean thankfully he's not asking for new taxes like Johnson/Weld did.
