Why? Why not CHECK? Seriously. Why? An old school Surveyors Theodolite is all of about $50 in any pawn shop around here. Would come in handy for you building projects you talk about, too. TONS of them around since the laser ones came out. TO check would take you all of an afternoon, but you would rather go around spouting something you are not sure of? Same as this Cater fella. Weird.
