The Fediverse may not be perfect, but hey! You don't need to be stinking rich to run your own li'l server and lately I also discovered that complaints about troublemakers you might have caught on your instance actually *do* reach you, enabling you to do something about fascist trolls.

Keep the units small enough and there's plenty of moderation staff to take care of the fascists, climate change deniers and other assclowns trying to poison a civil discourse. Not bad at all. 😇
