Chris L@clacke @Queenofpalms @slcw the reason this approach is terrifying is that it isn't sufficient to have your own papers at a stop by the Gestapo or ICE but one would need the papers for your parents. Even if they only make citizenship unavailable for children of "illegal" people in the US those children will then have the challenge to produce proof of legal immigration for their parents when they where born. Or else swept into the camps. Depending on the color of the person no doubt.
