madgeface (she/her)@FlashMobOfOne Yes, Benedict Cumberbund's (as an old friend calls him) character is a shit, an absolute shit and so is the puppet extension of him - but I can get past that (somewhat, anyway) by allowing that masculinity and social relationships were different in the mid 80s, including women's roles in society. And the homophobia and sexism and police corruption that still turn up today. And I think the series did a reasonable job of also showing the impact of generational trauma. Worth it.
