Happy #WorldPhotographyDay

Shuffling through my 20-year old Flickr account, I realized that my most "popular" photos are not necessarily my favorites. The ones I like are the ones that have some sort of personal meaning or that represent things that are no longer there.

My mother (RIP) kept a lot of things. This is a cancelled check from my father (RIP) to an airline that's been defunct since 1991 written from a bank that's been defunct since 1991. It was written on my mother's birthday.
