@lauren I don't think we should put any trust in the capitalistic government to reign in capitalistic corporation. We need to play their game and vote with your money.

Stop giving ad revenue to Google. This can be done by either adblock or stop using Google. Sure, we might not do a mass boycott of Google, but what about a gradual shift? Help your parents switch. Spread the word to friends. With all the crap they are pushing, I doubt Google's results are any better to any other competitive now.
