- Embed this noticeSo i was using a 500G USB for 4 years as storage for my rapseberry pi, but I finally moved everything to ssd. I buy an usb adaptar an an nvm kingston 1TB ssd, but the kingston ssd died, probably due to a defective usb controller, so I had to buy an external adata usb 1TB ssd.
it was extremely fast while the other one (usb adapter + kingston ssd extremely slow)
But also my usb started showing errors, so I restored my whole USB contents from a backup i have in hard disk, my backup that is updated with rsync is more reliable since probably files in USB got corrupted.
