@icedquinn@blob.cat I had an TOSlink to 3.5mm/RCA jack adapter and it would completely turn off the optical input for 30 seconds after you started it just to look for a bluetooth device. there was no reason for this to even exist as it's always searching anyways... the only reason I wanted it was because I was hooking to computer speakers and wanted a remote control, which ended up having volume levels I couldn't much use because the volume steps were too big..
I ended up swapping it out with a dumb one that works about as well and just using a 3.5mm attenuator knob
