    @ntnsndr thank you for trying it! Yes, it's very unclear to me why the default hasn't been updated -- I left a comment to inquire/see if we can improve the defaults for every instance: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/8632#issuecomment-2282263291

      My main issue with Mastodon's design is that the columns are too narrow, which makes the content look cramped and the thumbnails look too small. Is it possible to let the user resize columns?
