one of my local travel insurance providers has an additional “cancel for any reason” clause for a fee that allows claims for cancelling flight tickets/etc for any reason, e.g. i decide not to go cause i changed my holiday plans

this is cheaper than the difference between a nonrefundable/refundable ticket. what’s the catch??
