@liztai never tried organizing anything. Mostly I have one or two dozen notes and I read or write at them. Some of them are just collections of scholarly references from many years ago, I'll just add them to Zotero (not relaxing). Haven't found yet how to pin some notes in the top of the list yet, so I put some notes in ~3 folders to make it easier for me to find often-read but seldom-edited notes.
