@BeAware Except for very specific situations, I largely avoid most game movies as 99 percent of them suck and screw up the sourse material.

Every now and then you'll come across something alright, like the Mario movie last year was one of the better ones I've seen for a while.

Resident Evil kinda became it's own thing but the best two films, I thought, was like the first two or three as though they deviated from cannon, they at least stuck closer to the sourse material earlier on.
