However, if they're on Fedi somewhere already and they know, even partially, how Fedi works, then you can send them the link and tell them to put it in their instances search bar.

That will pull the post to their instance so they can interact with it. Given their instance doesnt have the other instance blocked, this usually works.🤷♂️
