Corb_The_Lesser@BeAware That's inaccurate. Your distro's package manager will resolve dependencies of packages installed from the repositories maintained by that distro and any others you may have installed.
That's how it works.
If you're grabbing something from Github or some other source code site not intended for mainstream use, that, of course, can't happen.
