@geerlingguy Still far away from being mainstream in the PC market, but like ExplainingComputers, I feel like it's gonna get there quicker than Arm.

There's a big push for software and peripherals standardization in the RISC-V world, while Arm is struggling to this day and won't ever get better because nobody cares at this point.
SystemReady came way too late, and IR & ES levels aren't helping either. Any broken crap (*cough* RPi) can get IR/ES certified and claim it's "SystemReady". Haha, no.
