Christine Burns MBE 🏳️⚧️📚⧖The other time I was at the Royal Albert Hall was in 1983, working a computer which I’d programmed to automate the scoring of the Miss World competition that year. It was a project that had required me to meet Eric Morley and go through with him the precise operation of the judging procedure. And then there was the work with Thames TV engineers and the Epson company to interface one of their CP/M computers to the TV standard so my results could be overlaid on the nation’s TV screens live.
