Shit, for all we know this could be a photo shop.

However ears are highly vascular and heal quickly anyway.

A .22 caliber bullet hole is only a little larger than a BB so you wouldn't be able to see the cartilage damage after the skin healed over it.

That and with money you'd get the best possible care to take care of such wounds and a little makeup would conceal any remaining scars and redness.
