Larvitz :fedora: :redhat:@BeAware I started as a single user instance. But later a friend convinced me to just open it up. And now our instance has open registration and is listed on joinmastodon. Still a rather small one (~60 active users) but that’s totally fine. Maintaining a small community is way easier than a big one.
