I get your point about optics. Look, my issue is not that people hate lolis and lolicons who are no where near being the evil pedo faggots. I am actually a-ok if somebody hates loli art. I can understand why someone won't like it.

The issue comes when that hatred is expressed irrationally and constantly in spaces shared heavily by those who don't necessarily think lolis are the big bad pedophilia from Japan or those who even think non-erotic loli stuff is cute and funny. The loli haters waste so much energy huffing and puffing at a midwestern adult woman playing a small shark girl at a major league baseball game, when there are genuine evils, more worthy of that wrath like that Australian pedo Judge demanding that fags be allowed to rape kids, and all that is left in the wake of that irrational, ignorant, and unduly hateful wrath is ruined online spaces, where the good kind of dissident politics and ideology can grow.

Loli optics are bad. The anti-loli/anti-anime optics are growing worse. I don't want a repeat of what happened to 8chan on the Fediverse.
