    @tthbaltazar@chaos.social I consider free software more of a social movement than a political movement. As free software does not belong to any one particular political ideology.

    It is more similar to other social movements like pacifism/anti-war. Almost everyone in the world from every political movement agrees that war is bad. Yet we still fight wars all over the world, because a minority of powerful people may gain from it...

    I see free software movement as a similar movement.
