Treat it like you would any other instance.
But the specific post that's linked doesn't do that.
They're calling for people that are federated with threads to be Fediblocked as well, which makes absolutely no sense.
On other instances, single admins are making the decision for their entire instance without polling their users first. Which is a terrible Fedi admin behavior.
If all of these things align, then of course, do as your instance sees fit. It's the "block people who are passive to my enemy" and admins making the decisions for thousands of users, that keep annoying me...
