The low levels of the current age is probably why all the megafauna died off. Plants are starving for old prehistoric CO2 levels. There are reasons they pump CO2 into greenhouses to increase yeilds. We might lose some species of penguin if temps rise 2deg C but we will gain so much more and the planet will have much more life. And I'm not sure they even know for sure temps will rise, the numbers look fudged to me and it probably has more to do with destruction of plant life and forests and concrete/asphalt pavement.
