@CZB @TURBORETARD9000 @meowski they used to tell us co2 was very high and it just made the plants very big. now its armageddon.
i have mostly just opted not to care at all because this issue seems overly politicized and i don't have the resources and energy to figure out what i should care about.
i suspect there is a waste heat issue somewhere though.

@TURBORETARD9000 @icedquinn @meowski we need more CO2, there is a shortage. The more CO2 the more life the planet can support. The low levels of the current age is probably why all the megafauna died off. Plants are starving for old prehistoric CO2 levels. There are reasons they pump CO2 into greenhouses to increase yeilds. We might lose some species of penguin if temps rise 2deg C but we will gain so much more and the planet will have much more life. And I'm not sure they even know for sure temps will rise, the numbers look fudged to me and it probably has more to do with destruction of plant life and forests and concrete/asphalt pavement.

@CZB @icedquinn @meowski I believe the problem is that there's too much CO2 for the environment to naturally sequester

@meowski @icedquinn what really pisses me off is the whole CO2 sequestering industry. Like wtf. We need that CO2 to rebuild our topsoil once we gut high tillage high chemical big agriculture. Most of are farmland used to be a foot thick of organic topsoil and now it is all 98% (rough guess) clay and sand thanks to plow and disc induced errosion. Now my gears are grinding... :02_hyper:
