leaving them behind was something I've done for a decade or two, mostly when there was still plenty of choice. I've come to regret that, because now there's hardly any place left to escape to. if I had started fighting for accessibility back then, instead of ceding more and more of the terrain to the occupiers, maybe we'd all be better off by now.
