- Embed this notice@lucy It's cringe and proprietary pilled as I believe it defaults to the proprietary version of Linux and has no clear policy on what licenses are allowed.
I can't find details online how to install Linux-libre with void and it appears that the xbps package manager doesn't have the functionality to tell you what license each package has.
At least there's apparently a "nonfree" repo not enabled by default, but doing so allows all the proprietary software and it seems that a few packages in that repo are actually free, but are restricted by patents.
