OwlCountry's downfall as a genre can be charted back to the Grand Ole Opry days of the 1930s when percussion in country music was becoming mainstreamed by the industry, which would slowly but surely transform the genre into the hick hop and generic rock tracks backing Ford and Bud Light commercial vocals we know today.
