      This is probably not news to anyone who follows my account, but I really want to shout it from the rooftop: When there are fascists around, *more polarization is better than less polarization*. Meeting fascists halfway means you’ve just moved much closer to fascism. It is and will always be a losing strategy. Calls for “unity” that don’t explicitly demand that reactionary, authoritarian turds join the rest of humanity (a demand they will almost invariably reject, whether or not they say so) is a call for appeasement. Don’t fall for it. That is all.
