Odds are it's a situation like woggy described where the socioeconomic filter kept out the worst of it. It's not the black dentist that would concern me, but maybe his outer circle. Kids friends and friends of friends would be the issue. Crimes of opportunity with kids who don't have the brains to leave their glock at home when they're trying to go teepee a house.
