The inherent duplicity of veiled speech is actually counterproductive to any kind of actual communication. Obviously in the context of this discussion, we're talking about this view within the realm of political discourse. Naturally, lies and deception are going to show up as a part of that. But should we just be okay would that? Or should we aim higher?
