Categorize things as necessary for good mental health and well-being or as optional or not required for that wellbeing.
You will see that equal rights and justice are necessary, not optional.
When people say that it is an opinion, they are obfuscating the fact that they don’t believe rights are for everyone and are not necessary for those minority groups.
