Mother Suspiria :autism:@jacklaridian It WAS fun, and I really enjoyed it but I still find it odd that Linklater thought these characters were likeable and that we'd root for them. Their relationship was fucked up and neither of them were exactly great people, especially by the end. I don't mind because they WERE sympathetic & I understand nuance- and the true story aspect is also fascinating- but it's so weird that upon discovering it he thought "ah, I know: romantic comedy!"
