Kuba Suder • @mackuba.eu on 🦋@BeAware What I mean is, he's planning to soon add the mechanism that he promised those people in That Thread, that you'd be able to request a follow from someone on the other side and the first time someone wants to follow them, they'll get a DM from the bridge asking if they want to enable it. So it will be a bit more automatic than it is now. AFAIK this is supposed to take a form of DMing the bridge account with the handle of the target account. He mentioned this in the last status update.
