@alainamartin @Jerry Well, tbh I have a custom style for my instance that is different from OG Mastodon, but if I remember correctly it goes like this:

Click your profile

Next to your name click the "..."

Click Preferences

Click Account on the left hand side

Then "Migrate account to a different instance" should be on that page. But, you first need to have an account on another instance and click the opposite option on that account, "Move from another instance" and you'll setup something called an "alias" then do the steps mentioned previously.

Sorry, I said it backwards but I'm sure you'll get it. I had ADHD and things get out of order sometimes.😬
